American Power Equipment Inc. was founded on April 1, 1991, during the height of the Desert Storm war, when everyone was feeling patriotic and America was strong. That helped us decide on the name.

We have grown over the years into the 17,000 Sq Ft facility we occupy today. We are in the sales, service and parts for the Outdoor Power Equipment industry. We are also now a factory-authorized service center for over 34 companies and continue to add more all the time. Our service department is one of the best around, often imitated but seldom duplicated. Our mechanics are factory-trained and attend annual update seminars to keep up with the ever-changing technology. Our knowledge has attained us the status of a Master Dealer for Briggs & Stratton, an Expert Dealer for Kohler, a Master Dealer for Tecumseh, a Titanium dealer for Husqvarna , a Silver Dealer for Stihl….and so on and so on…
